Job Title: Magento2 Developer
Job Location: Gloucestershire / Remote Options Available
Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per annum, depending on experience and level.

I am currently looking for a Magento 2 Developer to join the team of an award-winning digital agency based in Gloucestershire. They offer a boutique Magento offering. They have a dynamic close-knit team of 4 Magento developers and a diverse but growing number of Magento clients from a wine merchant, to a technology retailer and a leading UK camping retailer. Their bespoke Magento offering often leads to unique solutions to meet our clients needs and allow.

In the wider digital agency outside of the Magento team you will work with experienced designers, copywriters, and marketers some of which have been with the compant for many years. If you are working on a task that requires some design input or support from other teams - just reach out with the query. They typically work in a relaxed atmosphere and strive for a collaborative culture. Personal development and training is actively encouraged and we are always open to trying new processes or ways of doing things. Especially when it can enhance our workflow or benefit our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Building bespoke Magento websites
• Follow internal Magento development code ethics and review
• Adapt work inside a Magento team of backend, frontend, SEO specialists, and UX/UI designers.
• Daily tasks can consist of Extension Customisation, Bug Fixes, Issue Investigation, Custom Functionality Build, Performance Optimisation, Testing etc
• Track project/task time professionally and keep an organised project board and inbox
• Security updates and maintenance of sites
• Creating custom Magento modules (Backend)
• Server Optimisation and Management (Backend)

What they are looking for?

• At least 3 years experience Magento 2 Development in an eCommerce environment
• An excellent knowledge of PHP
• A solid understanding of XML, SQL and JavaScript/RequireJS
• Comfortable in configuring and running Magento sites in a local environment
• Ability to identify, analyse and resolve problems effectively
• Bonus: Experience of Hyvä Theme (Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js)
• Bonus: PWA experience is a plus (Vue Storefront, React Storefront, PWA Studio)
• Bonus: Page builder experience is a plus (Extending core components and creating new ones)
• Bonus: Experience of Hyvä Theme (Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js)
