Are you a QA Engineer specialising in automation testing looking for an exciting new role to start the new year? Are you ready for a fresh challenge where you can develop your skills and support a growing industry leader in software development specifically targeted to an ever-growing market?

The Role. If you're successful for the role here's what to expect:

  • You will be working alongside the development team in delivery fit for purpose products at a high standard of quality within an agile organisation.
  • You will be in control of improving the quality of contributions from your team working alongside Developers and Product Owners.
  • You will adopt a range of agile techniques including Pair and Mob Programming, Code Refactoring, TDD and Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment.
  • You will be supporting and challenging during the creation of Acceptance Criteria, User Stories, Test Plans and Software Solutions.
  • You will be collaborating to ensure defect prevention, minimise issues and produce high quality products and software.
  • You will incorporate and execute the best practises for testing, quality, processes and activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Comfortable working from home with the occasional travel to the office as and when required.

  • C# (Resharper, Visual Studio)
  • Web (MVC, WebAPI, ASP.NET)
  • Object Relational Mapping
  • Testing (NUnit, MOQ, Cypress)
  • Service Orientated Architecture (WCF, REST)
  • SQL Server, Postgres and Cassandra (NoSQL), CruiseControl.NET

You. To be considered for the role of QA Engineer you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Experienced in software quality assurance with strong working knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes which include Functional and Non- Function Testing
  • Previous experience in working with automated testing in Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment environment
  • Experience working in a highly agile environment
  • Good working knowledge of UI or API monitoring and testing software
